I have been using Fast Blog Finder to find high page rank blog posts to leave a comment on thus gaining valuable back links. There are really four basic ways (and many more creative but not so basic ways) to get links, which I talked about in the make money blogging series. The four basic and very popular methods are leaving comments on blogs, submitting your website to directories, article marketing and social bookmarking.
From these four ways to get links to your site I would have to say that commenting on blogs will get you the least amount of links. Having said that I would also like to add that I think there is no better way to score some real quality links. Almost all of your article submissions, directory submissions and social bookmarking tags will be gray bar links, meaning they are a page rank zero.

So blog commenting is a really practical way to grab some high page rank links from authority sites. Page rank isn’t everything but it is a factor in how Google ranks your site. It also reflects the authority of your site to some degree. We can all agree that a site with a page rank 8 is an authoritative site.
I used to use Blog Comment Demon by Edwin Soft but I switched to Fast Blog Finder for one particular reason. Fast Blog Finder parses the do follow from the no follow. I have checked and double checked just to make sure that it was accurate and indeed it was.
I would also say that Fast Blog Finder easily finds many more blogs than Comment Demon or the free program Real LInk Finder. Real Link Finder is a great free tool no doubt but it doesn’t really compare to Fast Blog Finder. I have lots of experience with both and Fast Blog Finder is my preferred tool for blog commenting nowadays.
With Fast Blog Finder you can refine your search for relevant blogs according to a variety of criteria. It will search for both do follow and no follow together or just do follow if you want. You just type in a broad search term related to your niche and press start. This software shows you the url of the blog post, the page rank of the domain, the page rank of the post page, the number of outbound links and whether the page is do follow or no follow.
free Download_FastBlogFinder
Fast Blog Finder saves your results so you can go back later and do a comment run. I often get thousands of blogs in my results to comment on. There is just no way you can comment on that many blogs in one sitting so it’s great that it automatically saves your lists for you. You don’t have to save and store away any lists or anything. Nice and lazy!
The real key in knowing how to fully exploit this powerful tool is knowing how to search. Most people do exactly what I recommended above which was to enter a broad search term into Fast Blog Finder and let it bring in relevant results. That is just fine and dandy but you could get a little creative here and find some really high page rank pages to post on. I have found personally a ton of PR6 posts that are actually do follow and they had just a few comments on them.
I am not going to give away all my secrets but I will give you a tip. Think about what kind of pages get lots of trackbacks. It is already well known that pages that get lots of trackbacks end up with high PR. Can you think of any reasons why lots of folks would send a trackback to a post? Maybe someone was link baiting with a free download of some sort… Hmmm
free Download_FastBlogFinder
Learn how to search for footprints. Footprints in this sense are phrases that are common to a certain type of blog or post. For instance “download free” is a footprint. This query will bring back results where there was a free download of some sort. If this was on a blog then there are sure to be some trackbacks. Do you see what I mean?
Bottom line is I highly recommend Fast Blog Finder as a one way link building tool. It is in my opinion the best program for blog commenting out there today. With a little creativity you should be able to score some awesome links in no time flat. In fact, I find this software addicting!

Earn passive income per month lifelong with best online program
I like this review posted by Author: Kellen Bell at http://www.articlesbase.com
Just like most people I watched the video and was instantly hooked. A home business that didn't really require any real "business". Just do what you do everyday, recommend something that you found useful or helpful. Now You probably did it countless times this month, telling friends about a great movie or restaurant. Did anybody cut you a check ?
So after hearing this and thinking about it, I said why not i'll give it a try forGDI a month and see how it goes. I figured even if it sucks and I can't get get one person, I at least have a website and domain name for ten bucks a month.
Signing up was easy and straight-forward, I like that because this means it's easier to convert visitors. I picked a domain name that was keyword friendly and focuses on the topic of my site, I recommend you do the same (helps in search engines). Next, I started to build my site, I already had a site that I wanted to put up. If I didn't GDI provides about fifty professional templates that I could have used for free.
Next, I decided to start working on promoting GDI, this being the reason that I started in the first place. I began promoting a few days after signing up. I started with safelist, which brought a few leads but no signups. Looking back I made the mistake of not using contact solo ads to safelist. These are the most effective for safelist, I use them myself every now and then still. Then, I tried traffic exchanges. They resulted in a whole lot of hits but once again no signups! I was starting to doubt this "automated" system that GDI claimed to have in place.
Struggling to understand how all of these people that were claiming to make fortunes did it, I started reading the forums. I found a bunch of ads that some of the GDI professionals used and were proven. I was surprised how friendly the "heavy-hitters" were, always answering my questions and helping me get off to a good start.
I read that ezine advertising was one of the best ways to generate leads and signups so I decided to give it a try. I tried one of those ad-coops where I spent $10 and they put my classified ad in like twenty ezines. The results wasn't what I was expecting, since the ad was supposedly sent to 160k subscribers and I ended up with a few leads and one signup.
Almost feeling discouraged and thinking about writing this off as a failure, I decided to run one more ad. This time I placed a contact solo using one of the professional ads that I got from the forums. The response was great, I had over twenty leads and six signups from one ad! GDI gave me a $100 bonus for signing up five people in one week.
Without saying, this brought my confidence in the program back. I finally figured out the secret to advertising this program, ezine contact solos but these are kind of expensive so I had to find a cheaper way of making money with this program. I tried top sponsor ads, which worked about the same as solos but cheaper giving me my winner.
Now, it's been about a month and a half and I have around 25 people in my downline that I directly sponsored, and once they start recruiting my downline will explode. I've been paid once already, which it came right on schedule as promised. So in conclusion, I recommend GDI to anyone who is looking for a easy home biz that doesn't cost much to get started.
Recently I joined GDI
You too can have a look at it..GDI

Using Long Tail Keywords to Increase Search Engine Traffic
If you’ve never heard the term “long tail keywords” before, then you’re probably wondering what the heck I’m talking about, and how can you actually use these to increase your traffic. Long tail keywords are different from your normal search engine keywords like “web designer”, “toronto restaurants” or “buy cds online”. They are much more specific, contain more words, and are sometimes on the brink of a full sentence! For example, instead of just searching for “web designer”, someone might search for “blog web designer for making money”.
The main reason for focusing on these long tail keywords, is because instead of using popular and more broad keywords which are generally much more competitive, you optimize your site for longer, more specific keywords which generally are much less competitive. When your keywords are hit, there is a much greater chance that your site is going to be returned on the front page of the search results, which increases your chances of a new page visit.
Many people tend to focus on the popular keywords, then end up sending the majority of search engine traffic to their sites. And when an optimization is done, that increases the traffic on those 10 or 20 keywords, people rejoice. This goes along with the 80-20 rule, that says that the top search terms provide 80% of the page views. The problem is, that after looking at a lot of different sites, this doesn’t really seem to be the case anymore, especially for small to medium sites, that just can’t compete with the giants.
In most cases, yes, those top 10 keywords that you’ve chosen for your nice website will provide you with a lot of search engine traffic, but not necessarily more then all of the other focused search terms added up. Think about all of those specific keywords that bring 1-5 visitors to your site, the ones that you don’t really put much thought into. Add all of those up, and chances are, it’s going to result in more total visitors then your favorite keywords that really bring in the visitors from search engines. This is the foundation of the long tail theory, that the length, or the total number of low-number search terms, out numbers the height, or the total of the top 10 or 20 terms.
A brief case study is posted on the SearchEngineWatch forums which shows one company receiving about 225,000 visitors from search engines, but only 70,000 came from their top 23 keywords which each brought over 1000 visitors each, the rest were all from these long tail keywords. Even Amazon.com once reported that they make 57% of their sales from keywords that aren’t in their ‘popular’ list.
Another benefit of using these longer, more specific keywords, is that it increases that chances that a visitor to your page actually wants to be there, and will find your site valuable. You will have less visitors that will quickly scan you site and navigate away, realizing that wasn’t quite what they were looking for. This means more page views once they’re there, an increased chance of a new subscriber for your blog, more ads they will see and potentially click on, and the potentially more sales. This means that there are two important benefits to using long tail keywords to increase traffic: more visitors AND visitors that actually want to be there! It’s a win-win situation.
Here are a few ways that you can this information to your advantage:
Keyword Analytic and Tracking Programs: Google AdWords, HitTail and 103bees are three programs that you can use to help determine these keywords for your website. Google’s tool will scan your website, and suggest keywords based on the content. It will also give specific information on each search term, such as how high the competition is, and how popular the search term is. The other too programs require you to add a few lines of code to your site template and they will start to suggest long tail keywords for you to used.
Analyze your competition: This is especially useful for websites that are just starting out. HitTail and 103bees aren’t going to be as helpful if your site isn’t already generating some search traffic. But if you start analyzing websites that are similar to yours, chances are they have already targeted several long tail keywords. Find out what some of these are, and start optimizing your site around those, or variations of them, and begin to create new content pages that include those keywords.
One way accomplish this is to visit their websites and analyze there webpage. Take a look at the source code, check out their title and met tags, and maybe even backlinks.
Another way to do this, is to use a tool like SEODigger to quickly find out what keywords a website is targeting, all you have to do is input their URL.
Brainstorm a list of long tail keywords and use them! This may seem like obvious advice, but sometimes the most simple solution is overlooked. Try to come up with a list of keywords and phrases that really describe the content of your site, and start creating new content that includes the phrases. Especially with something like a blog that is just starting out, you need to keep adding new content frequently. Create new posts make sure that you are using your keywords and phrases in the titles, tags, and inside the post as well. The key here is to add this new content frequently, and add a lot of it. This will help you to start to increase your visibility on search engines, and start to attract new visitors to your site.
Whether you are just starting out with a new blog or website, or you already have a profitable and popular site setup and running, making sure that you are aware of your long tail keywords, and how you can use them effectively, will definitle help you increase traffic coming from search engines.

10 Ways to Improve Blog Traffic in 30 Minutes or Less
This is a guest post on improving blog traffic from Courtney Tuttle. Courtney writes about marketing online at Court’s Internet Marketing School.
1. Create link clusters within your blog
A link cluster is a group of links that you can point at a post or page to improve its search engine ranking. Let’s say you have a post that’s ranked for ’stupid business ideas’. Edit 10 of your other posts to create links (using ’stupid business ideas’ as the anchor text) to the ’stupid business ideas’ post and you will surely move up in Google for that keyword. This process can be implemented in about 10 minutes and can be used for any keyword your site ranks for or is trying to rank for.
2. Rework HTML title tags of trafficked posts
By watching your stats, you can often identify posts that get search traffic from a keyword, even though the keyword isn’t listed in the HTML title of the post. By editing your posts’ HTML titles to add the keywords they cover, you can strengthen the rankings and therefore the traffic that the post generates. You can easily make a difference with this method in less than 20 minutes. This method combines very well with #1.
3. Invite your readers to connect with you on StumbleUpon and Facebook
You can never ever have too many friends on SU and Facebook. Inviting existing readers to find you on these services with a post should take less than 20 minutes.
4. Save your best posts for the best times of the weekWriting a home-run post on a Saturday afternoon will probably happen from time to time. However, does your blog have good traffic on Saturdays? Analyzing your blog’s stats to determine when it naturally has the most traffic can get more eyes on a great post, which will translate to more social votes and more links. If you have created the post of your life, wait for a good day to publish - it will cost you about 1 minute on a later date to put it up.
5. Edit your post one more timeHow can you improve your title? How can you improve your first paragraph? Small details in your post, especially in the beginning of your post, can make an enormous difference in its ability to draw social traffic and links. You can definitely improve your title, first paragraph, formatting, and grammar within 30 minutes.
6. Stop writing about yourself. Start solving problems
Surfers become readers when a blog provides something that is wanted. A casual visitor may read your blog because they find training, answers to problems, entertainment, or something else they want. This more than likely will mean that they won’t want to read about you, your girlfriend, your cats, your kids, or your catastrophes (unless you have a personal blog that your friends read). Discontinuing the off-topic posts will help you to develop more repeat traffic and takes exactly 0 minutes to implement.
7. Subscribe to the feeds of your industry’s major players
That way, you won’t miss important news releases. When news breaks in your industry, there will be a lot of extra traffic searching for information on the event. Adding your thoughts will almost always generate extra traffic. Subscribing to the feeds of your industry’s top sites should take no more than 15 minutes.
8. Give a great post to a prominent blog
Let’s say that you took the time to write something great. Donating your post to a great blogger can help you to create a win-win. The great blogger gets a great piece of content that will bring him social traffic and links and you can create exposure for your name and brand. Emailing your post to a great blogger or blog takes less than 10 minutes.
9. Go to the store
Look at magazines. Pay special attention to the types of titles that are used on the covers. Write down the most interesting titles and think about what makes them interesting. In order to generate buzz around a post, a great title is an absolute necessity. More on this topic here: The Cosmo Headline Technique for Blogging Inspiration. You should be able to find some good title ideas in about 30 minutes.
10. Answer your email and comment questions
Nothing will show a reader that you care more than answering an question (even if you have already answered that question 100 times on your site). Why do people read your blog? Because you solve their problems. Why will they come back again and again to your blog? Because you solve their problems. Answering a person’s email or comment question should take less than 5 minutes.

13 Traffic Building Tips for Blogging
Posted on December 27th, 2007 by Nick Sullivan under Blogging, Traffic
1. Advertise on Already Popular Blogs.
An advertising spot on a popular or authoritative blog within your niche can help gain targeted awareness of your brand/blog as well as giving you an obvious boost in traffic. Direct advertising isn’t always that effective unless it’s clever marketing or the site or blog that you’re advertising on is… huge. So try and make ads that move away from generic stereotype and cliche so that they will stand out from others and catch the eye.
2. Write Outstanding Content
The most effective way to get return traffic is obviously, by writing great content. Getting traffic to your blog is half the battle, the main goal should be to get people coming back to your blog over and over again. Trying to get more subscribers should be the no.1 aim for your blog. Making money with it should be secondary, because without a readership, there is no one to market to. You can afford to lose some readers with advertising if you have a static and stable readership, but if you have average or poor content and your blog is covered in Adsense ads… you will just get visitors coming and going like clockwork and will gain no stability. Write to the best of your ability to avoid this.
3. Brand Your Blog
Branding your blog helps establish you much more as an authority or at least a more trustworthy source. It gives you and your blog an identity to associate with. An image. A visual representation of what you want to communicate with your blog, or at least a class logo to catch the eye! brand your blog with a professional image or representation to help establish it more seriously in the blogesphere and to separate yourself from generic blogs.
4. Be Provocative
Now when I say be provocative. I don’t necessarily mean bad mouth people or be over controversial to provoke arguments. Although that is one way! but what I mean is. Leave room for discussion. Provoke your readers into wanting to comment and input their own opinions by a) not covering every single aspect in a post and b) actually giving an opinion. If you don’t input an actual opinion, your posts become static and non-provocative. If people don’t have anything to question or disagree with then your just another blog pumping out bland viewpoints with no real input or opinion. Give YOUR viewpoint on things to provoke other people to give theirs.
5. Submit Your Best Work to Social News Sites
Social news sites like Digg can help generate huge traffic to your blog if a post goes big. It’s not the easiest thing to get big on Digg anymore because of the absolute flood of people submitting such a vast range of things all the time. It’s hard to provide something fresh. Something that hasn’t been done a thousand times over. Especially in a niche like Internet marketing, with pop culture and gaming it’s not so hard. It’s just about being the first to break a good story. Submissions about Half Life 3 get huge because people can’t wait for it so they salvage any info they can on it. But to come back to Internet marketing, so much has been repeatedly said on the same shit; over and over. It’s hard to provide something interesting enough to get dugg by the masses. But none the less, submit any of your good stuff. Because you never know!
6. Email Your Best Work to Other Bloggers
I had never really done email marketing before this blog. I did quite a big push not too long ago which I also posted about. I think email marketing can be really effective if done right, you need to market to the right people and be persistent but I think it can pay off. Don’t be annoying about it by emailing bloggers every day or week with your work but you could try a realistic email marketing schedule of once a month. Just contact some top bloggers or authoritative bloggers in your niche every now and then. As long as your emails aren’t spammy or demanding then I don’t see why they would mind. I don’t mind it if I receive articles from people. As long as it’s decent content, it’s no harm. So set aside some time, get some contacts rounded up and start some email marketing for your blog!
7. Have an Eye Catching Design
There are so many boring and generic blogs around using the same free templates or standard layouts. Having an eye catching design separates you, aesthetically at least, from these blogs. Blogs that stand out, get readers. Blogs that stand out, get comments. Blogs that stand out… make money. Help your blog stand out by getting a professional design. You can either:
- Get a free template and edit it to suit your style.
- Pay a designer to create a unique one from scratch.
- Design your own template, from scratch.
Either way, you should aim at having a blog design that people look at and think “I would like this on my blog” it’s designs like that which increase revenue and return traffic. It also adds a lot to the perception of your professionalism.
8. Use Images in Your Posts
A very well known mini-booster in traffic. But it can be a bigger booster if tapped into correctly. Putting images in your posts works on two levels to bring you traffic and to keep traffic interested in your posts. Firstly it helps the generic appeal of your posts, images that catch the eye will invoke a reaction from a reader, giving them the opportunity to read on. Original art is the best, if you can design; you should create some nice images of your own to make your posts even more unique. Secondly, images will bring traffic from image searches if tagged and optimized. Try and use images whenever you can to enhance your posts.
9. Interview Well Known Bloggers
By interviewing well known bloggers, you give your readers a peak into the mind of a successful blogger. In effect: giving them a peak into the secret of success. Getting well known bloggers to do an interview for your blog isn’t always the easiest task, but can be done. Just approach them, no matter how big; they are only human. They’re not celebrities or scholars, they just have a popular blog! it’s nothing to be afraid of. Don’t be afraid of rejection because it will happen, in more areas than not. But just approach whoever you want to get honestly and abruptly and ask them. So far for Internet Babel I have interviewed: Shoemoney, John Chow and John Cow. How did I get them? I asked. And the Shoemoney and John Chow interviews provided a nice little surge of traffic at the time.
10. Be Fresh
Posting non-stop opinion and news on popular topics is almost a surefire way to gain traction, in terms of the content. But sometimes it can pay to be a bit more unique and creative. Constantly writing about topics people are always talking about, on a broad level probably will bring you consistent traffic, but sooner or later your blog will become a second rate news filter. There are already huge news sites where people can check news and what not, as well as Google News. Now if you’re giving an individual perspective on some news, I think that’s fine. But always remember to be creative with what you post, look at other blogs and do things that they aren’t. Be fresh and creative and reap the rewards.
11. Find a Niche and Stick to it
Some bloggers can diverse a bit too much sometimes. If your blog is about sewing… write about sewing and hammer the niche to death! however tedious you may tend to think non-stop on-topic blogging may come to some. That’s what you should be aiming for! an absolute authority blog, by slowly slipping into other topics with your niche blog, you end up spreading yourself thin. Slowly becoming confused about what you really want your blog to say or be about. If you have a niche blog, hammer it. Stick it out and you will begin to love writing about that defined topic more and more, it’ll become a writing obsession. But a good one!
12. Post Regularly
Obviously, posing regularly is the backdrop to great content. The content needs to be great but posting regularly is a feat within itself. After a while, due to lack of results - most bloggers just give up. Thus their blog slowly but surely dies. Make sure you post regularly to stop this from happening to your blog! even if you feel writers block is present, try and get something of some relevance out. Rack your brains to come out with more content because content wins but regular content rules.
13. Don’t Post too Much
As a sort of ironic contradiction to the above point, posting too much I think can also have a negative effect. Try and post regularly but not so much as to the point of overloading your readers with so much information that they don’t have time to read it. I have trouble keeping up with some popular blogs posting 2, 3, 4 times a day. I’d say 4 a day should be a realistic limit, anything above that and I think people will just get sick of plowing through it all. Provide your great content in doses not overdoses.

SEO for blogspot blogs-how to add site map?
A great post at
http://alonesworld.blogspot.com/2007/09/seo-for-blogspot-blog-for-google.html
step 1:
1. add sitemap
step 2:
2. verify your site:
Your Google accounts->Webmaster tools->Dashboard->Verify->Copy the meta tag given
->Edit template->Paste your meta tag on correct position->Save your blog template.
Wow, It's really easy :)
Update (Jan. 08/2008)
If you have already redirected your post feed traffic to your feedburner feed, you may find an error message at Google webmaster page. In this case, you have to delete previous sitemap and add new sitemap like below, so the problem will be solved.
